The LSU area was mostly spared the immediate effects of Katrina. Because of our minimal damage, LSU became a headquarters for FEMA, the National Guard, the Coast Guard and many others. We are just now begining to remember that a normal schedule exists. Please continue to support the relief efforts for South Louisiana, South Mississippi and Southwest Alabama.
